पीतल के पैमानों जैसी शाम ढली थी आँगन में
हल्की-हल्की आग लगी थी लाल-गुलाबी आँगन में
दुल्हन जैसी चलती किरणें शीश झुकाए सहमी-सीं
पाजेबों की खनखन जैसी नई रोशनी आँगन में
