The measured meter

The measure and incantation of Haiku (a Japanese form of poetry of seventeen syllables, in three lines of five, seven, and five, traditionally evoking images of the natural world) is both challenging and creative. To be able to sustain a thought that is penetrating in its essence but pure and clean in its enunciation, while matching this unique format, takes an innovative and explorative mind. This aspect of Pariksith Singh’s work draws upon his unconventional and intrepid mind.
