PARAMHANSA

The swan passes in the lake.
There is no ripple in his wake.

So still he floats, the water seems to flow;
The world appears to dance for his sake.

At peace with himself, luminous and free,
He has forsworn all that the world might take.

Even at rest, he flies beyond the skies;
He is the silence no sound can break.
