O sacred fire,
Clad in drapes
Luminous as air,

And walls
Of diamond-blur,
Marble-white,

Ascend
In love,
Crystalline desire,

Spread the silent glow

Upon the dark faces
In secret caves
Below,

Color
With pure translucency
Of heart, aspire,

Each tongue of flame
Buried in the night,
With your presence,
Ignite!

Surprise
The shadows
In reverse purgatory,

Accept their food
Of purest sacrifice,

And swell my clot
Of light
Throbbing with blood.
