The skull of a moon

The skull of a moon

Stares with hollow eyes.
His bones are white.
His glare is bright.

His body glows

Lit with phosphorus,
The dazzling flare
Stripped bare.

His only sight
A vast nihil,

The void horizon
His dominion,

The smile of carious teeth
Designs his lips.
His nostrils glow,
Dark, hollow.

The edges are jagged
And slowly crumble,
Until his vacant face
ls space.
